A padel court is an investment that should last many years. The warranty tells you what the manufacturer stands behind – and what is your responsibility. Below is a summary of the warranty in Padel Tech’s general conditions of sale, which apply to courts bought through Padel Provider. Your contract is always the document that counts.
Warranty periods at a glance
| PART | WARRANTY |
|---|---|
| Manufacturing and metal structure defects | 2 years |
| Anchors and installation | 2 years, if the slab meets the technical specifications and is maintained |
| Finishing and corrosion | 2 years, when the court is used for its intended purpose |
| Artificial grass | 5 years, excluding normal wear and tear |
| Lighting appliances | 2 years via the manufacturer, excluding replacement labour and lamps |
| Glass | No warranty – condition is checked together at delivery |
Why the slab matters
The warranty on anchors and installation depends on the concrete slab meeting the technical specifications. The slab is prepared by the customer, so it is worth getting it right from the start. Ask for the slab specifications early and share them with your contractor before any concrete is poured.
Why glass has no warranty
Tempered glass is checked together with you when the court is handed over. Once its condition is confirmed, later breakage is not covered. That is one reason many clubs order a safety kit with spare glass panels, so a broken panel does not close a court for long.
Keeping the warranty valid
The warranty requires that the maintenance protocols are followed. You receive the maintenance documentation when you accept the installation. In practice that means:
- Brushing and topping up the turf infill as described
- Checking bolts, glass fixings and doors regularly
- Treating any scratches in the paint to prevent corrosion
- Using the court for padel, as intended
What the warranty does not cover
The conditions exclude damage from incorrect use, inappropriate handling and unfavourable physical or chemical conditions, as well as indirect or consequential losses. The manufacturer’s liability under the warranty is limited to replacing or repairing the product supplied.
