Courts · Updated 5 October 2026
Good lighting makes evening play possible and improves the playing and spectator experience. Our courts are offered with three LED lighting levels. Prices are indicative extras per court, excl. VAT, freight and installation.
| Level | Extra per court |
|---|---|
| Standard, 300 lux | Included |
| Premium, 500 lux | +€550 |
| Competition, 700 lux | +€1,520 |
Choosing a level
Standard lighting suits casual and club play. Premium suits busy clubs and centres that want brighter, more even light. Competition lighting suits tournaments and events, especially with video or live streaming. Tournament courts combine well with Competition lighting.
Outdoor courts
Outdoor lighting often comes with rules on light spill and hours. Ask the authorities early – see permits.
Energy use
Higher light levels use more energy. Include lighting in your operating budget.
Questions to answer before choosing a light level
- Will the courts be used mainly for casual play, club play or tournaments?
- Will matches be filmed or streamed?
- Are the courts indoors or outdoors, and what are the local rules for outdoor lighting?
- How many hours per day will the lights run, and what does that mean for energy cost?
Light level and player experience
Even, glare-free light helps players follow the ball and makes the court feel more professional. A higher light level gives brighter conditions and suits video, while Standard 300 lux is a sensible base for casual and club play. Our options are Standard (300 lux, included), Premium (500 lux, +€550 per court) and Competition (700 lux, +€1,520 per court), all indicative excl. VAT, freight and installation.
Indoor and outdoor differences
Indoors, lighting is part of the building design and interacts with ceiling height, beams and ventilation. Outdoors, it must also respect rules on light spill and neighbours. See indoor vs outdoor courts.
Choose, price, decide
Add the lighting to your operating cost estimate and price the options in the configurator. Tournament courts pair naturally with Competition lighting – see the Tournament model.
