Padel centre revenue streams

Court bookings are the core, but the strongest facilities plan for several income sources.

Business · Updated 5 October 2026

Court bookings pay the bills in most padel facilities, but a plan that relies on peak hours alone leaves capacity unused. These are the streams to consider.

Court bookings

Pay-and-play bookings by the hour, with different prices for peak and off-peak times.

Memberships and subscriptions

Recurring income and loyal players, often in exchange for lower hourly prices or booking priority.

Coaching and clinics

Lessons for beginners, juniors and advanced players, and group clinics that fill quiet hours.

Leagues, tournaments and events

Regular competition builds community and drives repeat bookings. Corporate events and private parties add revenue.

Food, drinks and social space

A lounge or café keeps players on site longer, although it adds cost and permit requirements.

Retail and rentals

Racket rental, balls, grips and clothing.

Partnerships and sponsorship

Local companies, brands and clubs that use the facility regularly.

Model each stream separately in your business plan, and be cautious with income you have not tested.

How to think about pricing

Court hours differ in value. Use different prices for peak and off-peak, and consider membership prices for regular players. Check the local market, but do not simply copy competitors – your costs and quality may be different.

Start with the core, add the rest as you learn

Court bookings and coaching are the core of most plans. Add extras when you can show that there is demand and that the extra revenue covers the extra cost. A café or retail space can add atmosphere and income, but it also adds staff, permits and risk.

Plan how you will fill the empty hours

Every centre has hours that do not fill by themselves. Decide in advance which stream is meant to fill them, and give it a target and an owner. Read how many courts to build and what drives profitability.
