EVO vs Full Vision vs Tournament: which model to choose

Three structures, three budgets, three use cases. Here is how the EVO, Full Vision and Tournament models differ, and which one fits your project.

Buying · Updated 14 October 2026

All three Padel Tech models meet the same official dimensions and can be built indoor or outdoor. What differs is the structure: how much steel is visible, how open the sides feel, and what the court is built for. Here is how to choose between them.

EVO: the entry point

EVO is the classic padel court structure: galvanised steel panels, tempered glass and the full official dimensions. It is the most affordable way into padel without compromising on the official rules. Most first-time club owners and smaller venues start here, then add courts or upgrade specs as demand grows.

Full Vision: built for sightlines

Full Vision uses a slimmer frame and more panoramic glass, so there is less steel breaking up the view, both for players inside the court and for spectators and passers-by outside it. Clubs that want their courts to look good from the street, or that rely on walk-in interest from people watching a match, often choose Full Vision for that reason. The extra openness comes at a modest premium over EVO.

Tournament: built for competition

Tournament is the reinforced option, designed for venues that host matches, leagues or tournaments, and for courts that see very high daily use. The structure is strengthened for durability under frequent, intensive play. If you plan to apply for competition certification or expect heavy rotation of players through the day, Tournament is the safer long-term choice.

What stays the same across all three

  • Official padel dimensions: 20 x 10 metres of playing area
  • Can be built indoor, outdoor or covered
  • 10 mm tempered glass and Real Turf as standard, upgradeable on all models
  • Standard 300 lux LED lighting, upgradeable to 500 or 700 lux
  • Delivered and installed by Padel Tech’s own team

How to decide

Start from how the court will be used, not only the budget. A single social court for a hotel or padel bar rarely needs Tournament-grade reinforcement. A club planning leagues or competitions benefits from it from day one, since upgrading the structure later is far more disruptive than specifying it upfront. If visibility and first impressions matter most, for example a court visible from a street or a café, Full Vision’s open sightlines are usually worth the difference over EVO.

Mixing models on one site

Many venues with several courts mix models: for example EVO for the general courts and one Full Vision or Tournament court as the “show court” used for events and exhibitions. Each court is priced and specified separately, so you can combine models freely within one project.
